Variegated Euonymus is a great choice for Southern California. It is salt tolerant, so it’s perfect for coastal planting and adapts well to desert conditions, too. They love full sun exposure and have low to moderate watering needs once established. We love to plant them during any season, and during the summer, a cream-colored flower blooms, adding to its dramatic foliage color. These are low maintenance, eye-catching plants, and since it grows so wide, it’s capable of absorbing unwanted noise, so we also love to plant them near streets and in industrial areas.
