Everblooming Gardenia (Gardenia jasminoides 'Veitchii')

Everblooming Gardenia

Gardenia jasminoides 'Veitchii'

The Gardenia is a favorite plant prized by many, and the Everblooming Gardenia is no exception thanks to its profusion of showy, fragrant white blooms that appear from spring through summer! The Gardenia jasminoides 'Veitchii' is a taller variety and features a low, dense growth habit, so it’s a favorite for growing in limited space and larger spaces. Its fragrant flowers are certainly a major part of its appeal, however, its glossy evergreen foliage and upright branches also add to the appeal of this beautiful specimen. They grow well in containers and people love to use them as entry plantings where their wonderful fragrance is the perfect greeter!

The Gardenia is a native of China and has been cultivated for over a thousand years. Feel free to cut the flowers. Here in America the flowers are a favorite for corsage and they’re also vaseworthy, since the flowers can fill the air with natural aromatic goodness. You’ll be glad to know that growing these Gardenia Veitchii plants is quite easy and requires little care. They love to grow where there is full sun to partial sun exposures and once established will have low to moderate watering needs. We recommend feeding with our Super Charged Moon Juice fertilizer for optimum results!
