Necessary Nutrients for Palms
Palm trees are attractive accents or focal points in almost any style of landscape. Keeping your palms healthy and full requires paying attention to the special needs of these interesting trees. Most palms grow steadily from March through mid-November. This long growing season requires a lot of energy supplied by sunshine and fertilizer. High alkaline soils found throughout the southwest prevent complete breakdown of many nutrients that are vital to maximize palms growth and vigor.

Easy to use!
Apply Moon Valley Palm Supplement evenly over the rooting zone of palms trees and water thoroughly. Application rates vary per size and age of palm trees.
Directions for Use:
1. For optimum results, 8-0-8 Palm Fertilizer is to be used in conjunction with regular applications of Moo Dust. 8-0-8 Palm Fertilizer should be used 3 to 4 times per year.
2. Measure the diameter (distance across, not around) the trunk of the tree at a point approximately 2 feet from the ground.

4. Sprinkle 8-0-8 Palm Fertilizer in a circle surrounding the trunk but avoid applying too close to the trunk. It is best to determine the size of the root ball, usually 3 to 5 times the trunk diameter, and apply in a circular band around the root ball perimeter.
5. Water all trees immediately after fertilizing. Using a hose to saturate entire fertilized area is recommended to improve fertilizer efficiency. Water each palm 3 to 5 times per week, depending on the season.
